To the people who keep dumping their building waste in Patrick's Island.
Go dispose your waste responsibly at the dump. There is no charge for the service.
Are you just lazy and cannot be bothered to drive the extra miles to town? Do not litter residential areas with your construction leftovers just because you cannot be bothered to dispose of it properly.
Be advised you irresponsible wasters you are been watched.Illegal dumping carries a hefty fine.

  2. I have received a call from a resident of Jade Dr in West Bay who is complaining about construction company's that are in the area building homes whose staff continue to dispose of their food containers around the site. These same containers are blown around the neighbourhood and also are coming onto the property of other residents making it an unsightly situation.

The residents who keep their yards clean and try to keep up with the residential clean up are getting no where as these construciton companies do not make it mandatory for their staff to clean up the site on a daily basis to stop the garbage they dispose of from being blown around the area leaving unsightly conditions.

The residents of Jade Dr are fed up of these construction companies and wish for something to be done about the way their neighbourhood is being treated by these companies.

KMIC&G SUGGESTION/COMMENTS: The Planning Dept. in conjuction with the Trade & Business Licensing and DEH depts. should be able to handle these types of complaints from residents and impose fines against the contractors who do this in an effort to prevent and cease this growing problem for residential neighbourhoods. This is not the only neighbourhood encountering these issues when a new house is being constructed.
