The following email letter was sent today June 14, 2012 @ 11:38am, to the following members of our Government, and others:
Minister, Mark Scotland
Minster, Mike Adam
Minister, Cline Glidden
Minister, Rolston Anglin
Hon. Premier, Mckeeva Bush
cc: Director of DOE, Mrs. Gina Ebanks-Petrie
Dear Sirs/Madam:
The link below to a video is going to be the start of my advocating for the passage of the National Conservation Law. I plan to find every reason why this Government MUST pass this law and NOW, not constantly promise and promise and ignore the fact that our country will be no more.
I am sure that you heard the voices of our own children in the Jr. Parliamentary debates, and I have to wonder if that was simply to appease the public to show that we are encouraging our youth to have a voice, but in truth and fact we are covering up their voices as soon as they make them heard, by ignoring the facts they present to you. But really what they are doing is using these forums publicly to teach you to have a heart and to listen to them, because if you do not do so, you are jeopardizing their futures and the futures of many others.
So please I am suggesting with every ounce of my being that this Government stop the delaying of the passage of the National Conservation Law, and give our country a chance to breathe environmentally.
Stop the blasting, dredging, destruction of mangrove buffer zones etc. together with any other environmental permits from destroying what little we have left. Take the same approach you have with us about the FOR CAYMAN ALLIANCE, the same attitude you take is that it is going to go through whether we like it or not, well how about applying that attitude where it needs to be applied the most, for the protection of our country's future, and not for the protection of one entities future as it is now!!
There is only so much to go around and as it stands, there is not going to be anything to go around for our children and grand children, and so on.
I know you think I am engaging in scaremongering, but that is not the case. It is our own Governments that are engaging in this practice because your ignorance is what is encouraging it, by doing nothing about it.

NO Garbage Dump for Bodden Town!!!
Click on the link below for the news article from Cayman 27:

This is my view on the prosposed relocation of the landfill to Bodden Town along with a recycling plant etc.
They need to deal with it in it's present location. Continue at the GT landfill with the sorting/recycling plant, and whatever else is needed to go there. I am not supporting moving it, let it be remided at it's present location. Now, we have had long enough meetings and talks about this, leave Bodden Town out of this completely. Bermuda is now about 10 years ahead of us and they too had a Mt. Thrashmore. Bermuda is one island, we have THREE, with growing garbage problems. Let's deal with them one at a time. Let's stop having meaningless meetings and getting no where. The people are saying they don't want it in BT, so I am saying to this 'hard of hearing' Govt. for once in your reign stop and listen to your constituents, my goodness we are the ones paying you that handsome salary every month, even those who don't have jobs are paying to keep you all in your lifestyles that to me are outrageous and you ALL need to take a PAY CUT!! So get on with it, and do what they people are hollering at you ALL about and stop listening to your PIRATES!!

Fix Mt. Thrashmore where it is! (Expert Opinion)
From CNS article:
The local civil engineer who worked on the latest buildings erected at the George Town landfill has stated that government should not move the dump but address the problem on site. Sam Small, the consultant engineer who signed off on the sorting and recycling structures built at the George Town landfill during the previous administration, which have yet to be used, said there is sufficient room to create the envisioned modern waste management system on the current site. He explained that since the scrap metal was removed, there is now space to cap and remediate the existing dump while simultaneously setting up an eco-waste park at the same facility.
The Experts state that the Dump should remain where it is. I agree completely. Fix the festering sore, and don't try to spread it:

The Dump (Mt. Thrashmore) on the news again
http://www.ieyenews.com/2012/01/dump-problems-will-be-back-in-20-years/
I am so sick of all the talk and no action!! My goodness if they
had done something from when they started talking about it, it
would probably be accomplished by now. But all you can hear is
there are NEW Meetings, for meetings, and more meetings and
then a committee to engage the meetings, of the other meetings
from another review team to approve another meeting.....and
the foolishness keeps going on. Pure rhetoric!
